The Kauvaka Kids..

Let me introduce to you the Kauvaka Kids.. The children of Leki and Rachelle Kauvaka. My heart is first with this family and always will be, I have known them since they were all babies and yes I even changed a few of their diapers.. lol.. That just waaay dated me.. lol.. My husband and I owe a lot to Leki and Rachelle taking us in when we were first married, infact our first sons'  middle name is Leki (Sitaleki to be exact) it would've been his first name but Leki came to the hospital insisting that we just put it in the middle. Leki and Rachelle you have raised strong children who stand on their own and you can  be proud of them, spending the afternoon with them they all had me laughing and making me realize WOW, they are great kids.. Rachelles' heart is now with her grandson, and Rachelle I see why? What a heart breaker, reminds me of his daddy.
The kids have been planning this for some time Rachelle, keeping a secret was the hard part.. Happy Mothers Day Rachelle, may your children spoil you rotten. You deserve it..
Thank you Leki and Rachelle for helping a poor couple just starting out. We will never forget you for that and we are always indebted to you, now that Davids 18yrs old and eating us out of house and home, would you like our first born.. lol.. Dont answer that Leki, because I know your saying YES.

Introducing Sosina Salima.. Woods Cross High School.. Class of 2012

Have you ever wondered what an ALL-AMERICAN girl looks like well wonder no more.. Meet Sosina Salima your ALL-AMERICAN girl. Sina (which is what she goes by) is involved in so much right now her schedule makes you think "wow I'm not that busy after all.." lol.
Sina is a senior class officer where she holds the title of Vice President, shes also is involved in track & field where she holds the record for the discus she beat the record holder from last year.. Which I should mention was HER.. Sina is a High Honor roll student and also Academic all-region. Do you see what I mean when I say All-American girl.
Sina will be attending the UofU where she received a scholarship.. Then after that she really will be the next President of the United States. I mean when you come out of high school with a resume like that, what other job would qualify for RIGHT?
Congratulations Sina on your upcoming graduation, your family is so proud of you, way to set the bar high for everyone to follow..

East High School.. Pua Mataele.. Class of 2012

Introducing Ms. Pua Mataele.. East High School.. Class of 2012.. I love it when Seniors come already BEAUTIFUL and so far I've had nothing but that. Pua is no exception. She is both BEAUTIFUL and SMART, I know a winning combination. Pua likes to play volleyball, hang out with friends and she is a beautiful Polynesian dancer, so graceful.. Pua plans on attending LDS business college after high school, and then after that she will be President of the USA.. Jokes..
Pua congratulations on your upcoming graduation, may you enjoy the month or so you have left of high school and may you enjoy your new chapter in life you are about to enter, I only see great things for you.

 I know what your thinking can she be any prettier.. I thought the same thing when I first met her, such natural beauty and guess what she's even a really really really nice girl.. Manners.. got em.. Please and thank you's.. got em.. Sat in the back seat when we went for the photo shoot which I think is called RESPECT.. got em.. Sepa's an all around girl, and she works.. WHAT.. Yes she goes to school in day and works after, Sepa can I adopt you..

Introducing Peisi Kaufusi.. Kearns High School.. Class of 2012

Introducing Miss Kaufusi.. Kearns High School.. Class of 2012.. One of my MOST favorite Senior kids this year, and it helps that she's at Kearns High, did I mention I went to Kearns High.. (Ok I get it once or twice.. lol)
This girl is a NO JOKE (although she's always joking lol) type of girl, get the job done, help others get the job done (Yes she's part of the reason my son Mone is passing Spanish), dont mess with me or anyone that came with me type of girl. She's head strong and knows exactly what it takes to get where she's going. Thank you Peisi for showing me what a strong young women looks like, the hopes and dreams, the goals all in line and all ready for the taking. There is no doubt in my mind Peisi you are headed for greatness, Thanks for letting me capture the beginning of your adventure.. Ofa lahi atu Peisi..
Did I mention she's my niece so I'm kinda one sided when it comes to her.. lol..

Miss Hills.. Copperhills High School Class of 2012

Have you seen the new kids of Class of 2012, well let me introduce you to Miss Brooke Hills, Copper Hills High School Class of 2012.

I was way excited for this Senior Session I have known Brookes'  family for some time, her father is my sons' basketball coach for Super League, and her younger brother Buddy is one of my sons best friends, this year they had a great season taking 2 Super League Tournaments.. Great job Coach Hills.. (bragging moment over lol)

Now back to Brooke..

This young lady seems to have her life plan figured out (I'm waaay older and I still don't have a plan). She works 2 jobs and still manages to get a 4.0 GPA, I mean really WHO DOES THAT? Her dad claims she gets her smarts from her mom, I tend to agree.. But I will say this she gets her looks from her dad, Coach Hills if you were a girl, you'd be really really really really CUTE.. (I think I used enough REALLYS.. ) 

When I asked Brooke how she managed to have 2 jobs and maintain her grades, she says she has NO social life, NONE what so ever.. Good to know, first thing I'm going to do is get rid of the SOCIAL life around my house.. ( wait.. do my kids have a social life..lol) Brooke plans on attending UVU after high school, she's even managed to put her deposit down on her apartment ALREADY.. Really.. WHO DOES THAT? I mean really I'm even proud of her, and she's not my daughter.. lol

Brooke congratulations on your upcoming graduation from CHH, I only see BIG things happening for you in the future, and when your running the world I can say I knew you WHEN.. Good luck in your future Brooke not that you'll need it.

Mr Afatasi... Kearns High School...Class of 2012

Mr Afatasi does it all.. Student body officer, Boys Volleyball (for a different school, but we wont mention that schools name lol), Spanish Tutor (we wont mention for who? CLUE? one of mines) and just an all around great guy. He always has a smile on his face and a great attitude to go with it..
