Baby Lautala Fangupo

How do you take pictures of a baby who already knows she's the boss... Answer: Any way she wants her picture taken... lol..
Introducing Baby Lautala Fangupo the 3rd child BUT 1st daughter to Ova and Monica Fangupo.. When I first got to the photo shoot her mom asked me what should she put on her daughter to wear, I told her anything you want, she walked into the room and came back with a closet full of clothes that were the babies, and were brand new.. I thought wow 2 weeks old and already a closet full of clothes.. Needless to say she is well loved. I doubt her feet will ever touch the ground.
She is in the famous wrap her up tight stage so there wasn't much we could do without the blanket, and of course after you wrap them they fall asleep.. But then again when your the boss you can fall asleep anytime you want.. haha
Thank you Ova and Monica for letting me capture your precious baby girls first pictures. What an honor..

There is something about a NEWBORN baby that makes you smile the whole time your in the room. I think I'm getting old, I found myself smelling the baby instead of kissing the baby like my mom use to do. So much for the THINK, I AM.. lol..
Congratulations Ova and Monica... What a beautiful addition to your already beautiful family.. Tell those 2 boys to be careful, there's a NEW sheriff in town. And she's a GIRL...

The Mauigoa Family

The Mauigoa family was visiting from out of town.. The husband was so funny he kept shaking and saying how do you guys live in this weather.. I laughed and said in my T-shirt what weather.. This is still warm.. He started laughing and says You guys are crazy.. lol.. I love it when out of towners (is that a word lol ) come here I love to watch their face as they watch everyone in amazement wear shorts in winter.. Guess when your from Utah you become IMMUNE to the weather.. Except for today it was REALLY REALLY cold..
I have known the mom of this family for a long time, and can I just tell you that she looks as beautiful as she did from back then.. I know I cant stand people like that.. LOL.. Mele thanks for letting me capture your family and thank your husband for braving the weather for me and coming outside so I could take some photos.. lol.. You have a beautiful family..

The Burgess Family

I have known the mother of this beautiful family for a LOOOOOONG time.
Fondest memory of her...
Young Women Camp at Lake Arrowhead, all of us leaders where in a meeting, while the girls were in workshops.. when an announcement came through that we all should go back to our girls someone had played a prank on one of the cabins and had made a mess of things toilet paper everywhere and just left a big mess, as I stood up from the meeting I looked at the door and their stood one of my beehives crying and waving for me to come to her, I looked at another leader from our ward and said.. Walk quickly I think it was our girls.. At the end of the day our girls ended up cleaning it up and admitted to playing a prank on them. It was all in camping fun and no harm was done..
Yvonne I'm glad to see that from that little beehive crying in the doorway, you have turned out to be a strong mother of 4, watching you interact with them I know you are a great mother.. Dont worry your wild days at YW camp secrets are safe with me.. (and anyone else that reads my blog)...

Sneak Peek... The Vanisi Family

The Vanisi family is one of those family that I can honestly say I have known their whole life, and their father has known me my whole life.. The Vanisi's are the type of family that if you need anything they are there in a minute willing to roll their sleeves up and get to work, I hope my children are just like them.. I cant remember an event that has happened in my family that they haven't been there to help... Thanks for being such an example to my children and lets face it to me.. Love you guys.. I will post more in a few days...

Sneak peek... The Toki Family

I know exactly what your thinking... How could so many GOOD LOOKING people come from one family... I know the answer... Look at the Grandma and you will know.. Introducing the family of the late Eneasi and Silia Toki. Although the father of the family has passed on his spirit lives through his wife, children, grandchildren and yes even great grandchildren. The children all threw a surprise birthday party for their mom so they thought what a great time to get together and have family pictures taken. Some of the siblings are from California so going outside was a crazy idea, I told them this is still T-shirt and shorts weather they looked at me in amazement.. I had so much fun with this family but like I always say its easy to shoot em when they are all looking good..

So rumor has it that the boys did a routine to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce.. So I asked them to show me some moves, and without even thinking about it they all struck a pose. I could not stop laughing.. Thanks for the laughs boys, wish I was there to see the actual routine, I'm sure Beyonce would of been proud..

The Leo Family

I shot these awhile ago and have been meaning to blog them but I got busy with things and when that happens to me I loose sense of ORDER.. Literally..
Introducing the Leo family.. What can one say about a family so beautiful, the parents are beautiful, the kids are beautiful and that about sums it up.. This couple/family was such a joy to photograph that our session was a breeze. The daughters are going to end up on the cover of a magazine soon, and yes you can quote me on that. Their oldest son is so caring for his younger sisters, he is always watching over them, what a good brother..
Thanks for letting me capture your young and ever growing family.. Shooting them reminded me of when my kids use to believe everything I said.. Oh to go back to those days.. lol..
